What is Connect?

Avetta Connect is used by Sojitz Blue to prequalify their suppliers at the company compliance level. Avetta works with Clients and Suppliers to ensure companies performing work are qualified, licensed and committed to safe operations through vetting of safety statistics and HSE risk management processes. Where do I register or login to the Sojitz Blue System?

You can find instructions to register on the Registration Process page.

The user guides at the top of the page will help you use the system.

How much does it cost to register a business?

The cost to join the program is based on the level of compliance required for your business and the type of services your company offers.

Please note that adding additional clients in the Avetta system may increase your annual membership cost. Any increase will be generated and charged via future invoices

How do I renew my company-level subscription in Connect?

The annual subscription fee will be automatically deducted from your account at the time of renewal. If you are required to do an annual assessment, you will be notified to log back into Connect to resubmit.

How do I remove a client connection?

If you choose the wrong Sojitz Blue site or accidently add another client, click here for instructions on how to remove the connection.

How do I get a refund?

How much will it cost to register a worker?

Worker registration (subscriptions) in the Sojitz Blue Workforce Management System costs $80 + GST annually for role and competency management, online training, and verification.

The worker subscription renewal date is based on the date the card was purchased, not when it was printed and sent. You’ll be emailed one month prior to expiry to renew the subscription.

What documents do I need to upload to register my business as a Sojitz Blue contractor?

Depending on the work your business does, you’ll need to upload copies of the following documents when prompted in the system:

• Workers Compensation or Sole Trdaer Equivalent Insurance policy
• Public & Product Liability Insurance policy
• Professional Indemnity Insurance policy
• Motor Vehicle Insurance policy
• Plant & Equipment Insurance policy
• Company Trade Licences (eg electrical contracting license)
• Health, Safety and Environmental Management System documentation and procedures

Do my subcontractors need to register?

Yes. You must ensure that any subcontractors you have engaged to work at a Sojitz Blue site have registered their business and workers in the Contractor Management System. Ask that they follow the Registration Process.

How is this new company level prequalification system (Connect) different to the Pegasus company-level pre-qualification that was previously required for Sojitz Crinum?

I recently paid a company-level subscription within the Pegasus Pre-Qualification platform, does this carry over to the Connect Platform?

For suppliers with existing legacy system subscriptions that have greater than 5 months remaining, please contact us to enquire about a bridging discount at the point of registration.

Will my company's data be transferred from the Pegasus Pre-Qualification platform into the new Connect Platform?

No, Suppliers will be required to respond to enhanced questionnaires that address holistic compliance across all Sojitz sites, which in turn could trigger different requirements to what was previously deemed acceptable in the Pegasus Pre-Qualification Platform for Crinum only.

What is Workforce Management?

Workforce Management will be used by Sojitz Blue to ensure that workers are adequately trained and qualified to perform work on their site(s). This stage of the rollout will be introduced a few weeks after the launch of the company-level pre-qualification program.

I was previously using the ‘Sojitz Underground’ supplier portal to register and maintain compliance of my workers, should I continue doing so?

Yes, if you were previously required to do this, please continue to maintain the information through that portal until the Stage Two invitation has been initated in Mid-march.

How do the Avetta Connect and Workforce Management Systems Interact?

To register your workers in Workforce Management, your company must first be registered with Avetta Connect. You will access the Workforce Management once logged into your Avetta Account.
